Community Activities & Recreation Committee (CERC)

In September 2026, the Selectmen approved a proposal by the Economic Development Committee (EDC) to create the Community Activities & Recreation Committee (CERC) and transfer to it all the community-related activities that the EDC had been managing for years such as Summer Concerts, Hometown Hero Banners, Movie Night, and Halloween and Christmas Lighting Contests.

Several residents have volunteered to join the new committee and were recently sworn in. They still needs to hold an initial meeting to select its officers and discuss upcoming events .
